Alex Guastella is a former collegiate long distance runner who now is a healthcare startup CEO. Alex developed both plantar fasciitis and plantar fibroma in his left foot, causing extreme pain at various points throughout the day. He was recommended to either take monthly cortisone shots that would only temporarily relieve the pain, or to undergo a surgery that would have a high likelihood of leaving Alex flat-footed. Post RELIEF® Alex shared, “I’ve already noticed the pain has subsided and then eventually disappeared, and then on top of that, the range of motion in my foot and my arch is pretty much restored back to my running days. I’m happy to say I’m getting back into running which has been something I’ve missed for so many years.”
